NOTICE:  next rug hooking
class FEB. 4, 2012  9:30-12

Gosh. Where did January go? So nice to be into Feb. The winter has been so
mild and no snow storms like last year.  Time is going by so fast. I'm preparing for
the Atha Region 1 hookin in Westford MA. at the end of March. Check the events
page for contact info. Then there is the Camp Wool Hookin April 28 and 29 in
Maine. I love vending at this hookin because it means a trip to Maine and  walks
on the beach to look for seaglass.  I will also give you a heads up notice about
our annual hookin in October at the Salem Cross Inn. Registrations aren't
accepted until forms go out in May but the hookin will be October 31 this year. So
mark your calendars.
The class on wool coils was alot of fun. The girls had a good time as you can see
from some of the pictures below. Hopefully when some of the pieces are finished I
can get them posted. I'm starting a new hooked piece with sewn on wool tongues
around the outside edges when the hooking is finished. I will also post pictures of
that piece when its in the works and when its finished. So enjoy the moments you
get to do what you love, whether it be hooking, knitting, quilting, sewing, reading ,
having a cup of tea or coffee, chatting with a friend or just plain relaxing. Thanks
for stopping by and do stop by again. Sandy

GREAT NEW WOOL FABRIC JUST IN.
NEW DYERS DELIGHT BUNDLES
ADDED 1-24-12
I added a braided border to
this small sheep mat.  I
braided 3 of the #8 cut strips
to make the braid and then
attached it to the edges with
button and carpet thread.  I
stitched from between the
loops going thru the linen and
then between each braid NOT
stitching  thru the wool of the
braid

Frans visiting from Turkey. She seemd to really
enjoy the class. I'm sorry I can't remember her name
